Sinai BioDesign provides services related to both medical modeling and medical device design and fabrication, including 3D Printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, electrical and mechanical design and fabrication. Services include research and design to solve a customer's unmet need, design and modeling services to generate 3D models of anatomy and devices, electronic circuit board designs, as well as fabrication of models and devices from internally generated or customer-provided design files. These modeling, design and prototyping services are utilized by both clinical and biomedical research faculty, staff, and students at Mount Sinai. Sinai Biodesign contains several major pieces of equipment, some of which may be used by trained users at scheduled times in both attended and unattended fashion.
